HONEY SRIRACHA CHICKEN TENDERS & FRENCH FRIES

Ingredients

Honey Sriracha Sauce:

1/3 cup sriracha

1/3 cup honey

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp rice vinegar

1 tsp sesame oil

1/2 tsp minced garlic


Chicken Tenders:

2 lbs chicken tenders

1/3 cup all purpose flour

2 1/2 tbsp corn starch

2 large eggs

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

Salt to taste

Pepper to taste


Optional Garnish:

Sesame seeds

Green onion


French Fries:

2 russet potatoes

Drizzle of olive oil

Salt to taste

Preparation

Chicken Tenders:

  1. Add all honey sriracha sauce ingredients to a bowl - mix until smooth

  2. Get three bowls - add flour and cornstarch to one bowl (mix), beaten eggs to the second bowl and panko bread crumbs to the third bowl

  3. Add salt and pepper to chicken tenders, flip and repeat

  4. Take chicken tenders and coat first with flour, second with egg third with panko

  5. Spray air fryer with nonstick cooking spray. Add coated chicken tenders and air fry at 400° for 12 min (flip halfway)

  6. Once cooked, toss in sauce. Sprinkle sesame seeds and green onion on top

French Fries:

  1. Preheat air fryer at 400°

  2. Rinse and cut potatoes into 1/4 inch slices

  3. Toss cut fries into a bowl with a drizzle of olive oil and salt

  4. Air fry in batches - lay fries in air fryer without touching and air fry for 15 min (flip halfway) OR bake at 425° for 25 min flipping halfway
