Cinnamon Apple

1 apple of choice sliced

1 tbsp coconut oil

2 tbsp honey

Dash of cinnamon

Oats

1/2 cup rolled oats

1 cup oat milk

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1 scoop vanilla protein powder

Optional Toppings

1 tbsp almond butter

Drizzle of honey

  1. Cook the oats - Add milk and cinnamon to a small pot and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce heat to a simmer, add oats, and cover. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the oats thicken and reach desired consistency, about 10–15 minutes.

  2. Prepare cinnamon apples - While the oats are cooking, slice the apple, removing the core. Add coconut oil, honey, cinnamon, and apple slices to a pan over medium heat. Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples soften and the sauce thickens. Set aside.

  3. Finish the oats - Once the oats are cooked, remove from heat and stir in the protein powder until fully combined. Transfer to a serving bowl.

  4. Assemble - Top with the cinnamon apples, almond butter, a drizzle of honey, and a dash of cinnamon.
