Ingredients
Cinnamon Apple:
1 apple of choice
1 tbsp coconut oil
2 tbsp honey
Dash of cinnamon
Oats:
1/2 cup old fashioned oats
1 cup oat milk
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
Optional Toppings:
1 tbsp almond butter
Drizzle of honey
Preparation
Add oat milk and cinnamon to a pot and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce heat to simmer, add oats and cover
While stirring sporadically, cook until oats thicken and reach desired consistency (about 10-15 minutes). Start step 3 while oats are simmering
Cut apple into slices, removing the core
Add coconut oil, honey, cinnamon and apple slices to a pan. Cook for about 10 minutes until sauce thickens. Place to the side
Once oats are cooked, add protein powder to the pot of cooked oats and mix well. Add oats to a serving bowl
Top oats with apple slices, almond butter, honey and a dash of cinnamon
